This is a stunning early 20th Century Hand Painted Limoges porcelain cabaret set It comprises a teapot and cover, twin handled sucrier and cover, milk jug, four cups, five saucers, and a scalloped edged tray It is beautifully hand painted cream ground with gilt borders decorated with oriental fans, bamboo and prunus branches, red painted marks to base - 5243 and the painters mark. Diameter of tray 43.1 cm Height of teapot 18 cm Condition: Overall in fantastic condition with some wear to gilt borders, finial to sucrier repaired, one saucer with a flea bit chip to rim.
