Large Antique KPM Berlin porcelain plaque set in original period antique carved beaded gesso over wood frame ~ KPM marked, 100% handpainted, excellent condition Titled: Bien Entre (To Be Good) Unsigned Offered this large and very rare top quality painting on Porcelain KPM plaque. It is titled To Be Good, and it is fully handpainted and marked--as shown. Depicts a beautiful young woman wearing a rich green silk kimono. She has a beautiful face and chestnut, wavy, long hair. The plaque is fully marked on the back with impressed KPM and scepter and numbers inceased into the porcelain. Very bright, deep colors, appealing to the eye. The plaque is in absolutely perfect mint condition, no chips cracks or scratches; Please note that any white specs on the porcelain are dust or camera reflections. The giltwood carved organic pattern wood frame shows great age, and is all intact. There are some small gesso cracks that can be seen, which is common for early frames. This beautiful frame has relief designs with elaborate edge designs. Measures framed 22.25" x 16.75" and the plaque measures 16" by 10.25" Please see photos they are part of description, ask all an any questions before purchasing.
