The metal is gilt Bronze (or it may be cast brass) with beautiful gilt plated original finish and old charming patina. Beautiful design with Bow top and ornate design and large tassels at the bottom and flur-de-lis ornate arms. These sconces are 2-light fixtures. Great working order ready for hanging in your home. These sconces can be wired into a wall - as they are wall fixtures and come with mounting hardware; (the complete mounting hardware set comes with the sconces). The sale is for a Pair- 2 sconces, I do have multiples available in case you need more than one pair.I believe these fixtures would date somewhere from 1940-1950-s.
