Each sconce has ornate scrolling back designs with grape vine leafs and MURANO Venetian Opaline Blue art Glass grape globe shades; Delicate metal leaves. Original gilding gold leaf on the tole metal very bright and all intact; The metal is gilt toleware metal. Bright untouched original gold leaf gilding on these metal sculptures; These light fixtures take a small base chandelier size bulbs (not incl). - each takes 2 bulbs and is a 2light fixture. These opaline glass globes give an incredible soft light in the room when lit. The sconces come with cords with switches so you can hang them anywhere on the wall and plug into a wall outlet. Great working order ready for hanging in your home. New wiring. The sale is for a Pair. I do however have more matching pairs listed here, in case you need more than one pair. These are Italian Sconces from 1940-1950s - never used, came for an old stock, each sconce is marked with an original metal label- Made in Italy and most grape shades are also marked with original paper label that reads: Paul's glass Italy label; Please see the photos for more details and close ups; No missing, or broken pieces. Both Opaline Murano glass grape globes are intact, no chips, cracks etc. on the shades, and there is some roughness and rim small chips or nicks flea bites may be seen on the rims of the grape shades - common for any old art glass shades.
