The metal is a combination of brass and gilt spelter metal with great dark patina. This hanging lamp fixture takes 1 standard base size bulb -up to 100 watt (not incl). Has a loop at the top for hanging this is a ceiling fixture lamp and comes with a ceiling canopy with mounting hardware and chain that is 12.5" inches in length .
